The CRPF ITI, Avadi has started functioning wef 27.08.1990 at the GC,CRPF campus,Avadi by the CRPF employees educational society,new delhi.

The need to establish an ITI in south india to cater the technical education to the wards of the CRPF personnel posted in this region

As a welfare measure. The CRPF ITI,avadi is a co-educational day-cum residential ITI with enrolment of 225 students in NCVT and BSS Courses.

The CRPF ITI, Avadi is a co-educational day-cum residential iti with enrolment of 225 students in two NCVT course trades(two years) of mmv(motor vehicle) and electrician in three units each and bss 1 year duration multiple trades from the academic year 2015.

The ITI aims to become a ‘center for excellence’ providing quality technical education for deserving young minds. the wards, brothers, relatives of CRPF personnel’s and wards of civilians to empowering them to be courageous, confident to stand their own legs to enter the wide open Technical world.
